EDIT: As of December 08, 2019 Luke Harper was officially released by the WWE. Prior to this event it was pointed out by various news sources that he had filed a trademark under his old ring name of Brodie Lee. Excited to see where he goes from here.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the WWE has now placed a hold on Harper’s contract. It could be quite a while before he sees release, as they’ve exercised the same right they did with PAC (then Neville), and added an additional 6 months to his contract for the time that he was off. Originally slated to end in November, it appears as though that will now continue until right before Wrestlemania 36 in Tampa Bay, FL. No comment from Harper at the time of this writing, but we will be following the story as it develops.
