I wanted to start a little Challenge, so bear with me, as this is something new for your favorite Jack of all trades. So, I wanted to start with something near and dear to me: my grandmothers pecan pie recipe. Now you may say to yourself, “But Anthony, you don’t even like pecan pie.” Well you’d be right, but this one is pure nostalgia for me, for all the times I helped my grandmother make these, from gathering all the pecans from our own trees, to shelling them, to helping actually make the pies. A lot of work was done by this woman over many years of my life, and she always enjoyed cooking for her huge family. You always knew it was holiday time when you smelled that sweet smell of Pecan pies or chocolate pies baking andd then cooling in our house. Always a favorite, I hope you guys can now enjoy and possibly make it a part of your holiday tradditions as well.
