Ball X Pit Free Update Brings New Characters, Balls, And Even More Next Monday

The first big (free) update of a game that I cannot recommend highly enough, is coming to all of it’s related platforms on Monday, January 26th, an it is boasting a “wealth of content,” according to the games developer, Kenny Sun.

The Update will go by The Regal, and will include new characters and balls, along with some other features. The two new characters joining an already large line-up are known as The Carouser, and The Falconer. The Carouser’s abilities allow returning balls to orbit the character, while The Falconer is aided by two falcons at her side firing balls.

8 new balls, as well as a few new passives (no details on those yet), also come along for the ride. The dev also hinted at something, while staying tight lipped until the update launches. So keep your secrets. Check out a nice youtube short here.

This will be the first of three post-launch updates this year, the next two entitled Shadow and Naturalist, coming in April and July respectively. The Regal comes to all versions of Ball X Pit, across all current gen consoles, Switch 1, and PC.
