Almost 10 years on, and it looks like Stardew Valley is the game that never ends. Eric ‘Concerned Ape’ Barone can’t seem to let this one go, as he has a massive new free update, 1.7 coming. In between working on The Haunted Chocolatier, This one man army has been churning out free update after free update, and this one promises to be a doozy.

It’s been a sparse few months for details on the new update since it was announced, with Barone only vaguely hinting at a new farm type and some character things leaning on the social side, but we did learn some interesting new tidbits this week. In a recent interview with IGN, the dev didn’t want to go too into detail, but did talk about fulfilling a fan request involving the raising of children in the game and mentioning two new marriage candidates, which he would reveal on the games anniversary date.
