A Brand new Fest For The COTF

Coheed and Cambria promised us on their socials to bring us some “major announcement(s).” Today, it seems they held fast to that promise. This last decade has been great for the band, and now they’re expanding even further. Announced today via their socials were the Neverender Festival and Neverender Rocks! The former will take place in Santa Ana, CA, and the latter in the storied Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.

Neverender Rocks

We are starting out with Neverender Rocks on 09/29. Now fans are being treated with a Full set of the split album Afterman:Ascension/Descension. This one is a special stop in the aforementioned Red Rocks, while they are on tour with Shinedown. The band will be giving us Afterman end to end for the first time. I will be hoping this brings us a special edition DVD of this show. These shows would make an amazing companion piece to the original Neverender DVD.

Neverender Festival

They close us out with Neverender Festival, which is set to be a two-day-long affair 10/3-10/4/2026. With them will come a ton of friends that they’ve toured with over the years. Friends like Circa Survive, a band back from a years-long hiatus, will be there, along with several big acts. Friends like Sunny Day Real Estate, Thursday, and La Dispute are in support, with more named today and a promise of more to come. You will also be able to find activities involving cosplay, comics, and other nerd traps.

I have a great love for this album, and hope to make at least one of these shows. While I don’t expect that to happen, I do expect some cool videos to make the rounds.
