Darwin’s Paradox
Released: Apr 2, 2026
XBSX, PS5, NS2, PC

First up, we have Darwin’s Paradox. A cartoony, less creepy version of indie darling Limbo. It definitely wears that inspiration on its sleeve, and the demo sold me on its charm. What I played was a fun little Metal Gear Solid parody level and an abundance of cuteness. You should check this one out if you’re into challenging platformers like Limbo.
People of Note
Release Date: Apr 7, 2026

Annapurna Interactive has a legacy of odd pairings and daring indie design. Building upon this legacy, People of Note looks to be a contender in the RPG space. Bringing a novel rhythm-based RPG approach, in which music genres play huge roles in societies and timing is everything. It’s a system we’ve seen before in RPGs like Expedition 33 and others with regards to timing. Now, this game looks to fully embrace the rhythm aspect. With colorful, striking graphics, a great soundtrack, and what appears to be a fun combat system, this is one to look forward to.
